This is my Printmaking Project. My art class and I had to sketch up an idea of what we wanted our linoleum stamp to look like then carve it out and make prints. I am most proud of the actual design because I wasn't sure what to do right away. I would've changed my L to be capital because I accidentally carved it the wrong way so it ended up backwards, and I had to turn it into a lowercase L. I started by brainstorming what I wanted my stamp to look like. I ended up using one of my frequent doodles. I then drew it onto my linoleum block. I used different sized blades and chipped away the linoleum. I then spooned ink onto a tray and used a brayer to spread it onto my stamp. I printed onto a huge piece of paper and used a few different colors. I cut them all up, signed them, and then numbered them.
